The talk is part of a series co-curated by Modern Forms and Art Review investigating the twinned themes of complexity and emergence, two terms deriving from systems theory now gaining a wider currency in contemporary art.
Beating the system(s) investigates how artistic practices can enmesh and engage with the systems – ecological, technical and political – that collectively form our world.
The talk takes place this Wednesday 30th May. Doors at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
